BMW e36 instrument cluster test

If you think that your instrument cluster on your BMW e36 not working correctly, you can do a self-test and see if all works, without a computer.



This may work on similar BMW models too on that time where the e36 model was made. It's a simple test and shows you if all lights and measuring instruments works.
To do this you have to:
Press and hold button that reset the trip on the dashboard
Turn the ignition key to position one, or first click, and you will see the self-test.

That's it, and you can do for fun if you want!
